Research Interest:

Prof. Liling Sun’s research field is on investigating the phenomena and physics in strongly correlated electron systems, with a focus on the understanding of the microscopic physics behind unconventional superconductivity by using high-pressure methods. She has published over 160 papers in scientific journals, including Nature, Nature Physics, Nature communications, PNAS, Reports on Progress in Physics, Physics Review Letters and Advanced Materials etc., and has been invited to give over 60 talks over the worldwide. She received several prestigious awards, including the National Award for Innovation, National Award for Science and Technology Progresses, Award for Natural Science from Beijing city, and the Hu Gang-Fu Award from the Chinese Physical Society. In addition，she is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
