Comprehensive High Pressure Synchrotron Research (HPSynR)


Synchrotron radiation provides comprehensive probing tools to study structural, electronic, and magnetic transition for materials under extreme conditions (high pressure, high/low temperature, external electric/magnetic fields). We have utilized these advanced techniques to study the structural stability, phase diagram in x (chemical), P (pressure), T (temperature) space, novel functional materials (nano-composite materials, 2D films, multiferroics, topologic insulator, superconductor), and order-disorder system (metallic glass, quasicrystals and liquids).
