Research Interest:
The research interest of Cheng Ji is to show the following: Studying materials at ultra-high-pressure using diamond anvil cell techniques, including synchrotron X-ray diffraction measurements of solid hydrogen, syntheses of novel phases of elements and compounds at extreme conditions (high pressure, high temperature, and high shear stress), etc. .
