Research Interest:

1. Shock metamorphism of rocks and minerals.
2. Terrestrial impact structures.

Focused on the shock-metamorphic effects in meteorites and terrestrial rocks as well as the impact cratering phenomena on the Earth. Preceding work contributing to the discoveries of a series of new high-pressure minerals, to the understanding of pressure-temperature histories of shock-metamorphic events, and the findings of two impact structures in China, namely, the Xiuyan crater and the Yilan crater.
