About Our Group

我们是谁

本课题组聚焦地球与行星内部生命元素(CHONPS)的起源与演化研究, 结合天然样品观测、高温高压实验及热力学模拟, 探索挥发分在地球及行星内部的赋存与迁移规律, 为理解地球宜居环境形成以及资源物质富集过程提供科学认识。

The Tao Research Group focuses on the origin and evolution of life-essential elements (CHONPS) in Earth and planetary interiors. By integrating natural samples, high-temperature and high-pressure experiments, and thermodynamic modeling, we explore the occurrence and migration of deep-Earth and Planetary volatiles and their relevance for Earth’s habitability and resource enrichment.

Deep Essential Elements Cycling and Their Surface Effects

深地关键元素循环与地表效应

研究俯冲带 C-H-O-N-P-S 等关键元素循环过程及其与地幔岩石的相互作用,揭示其对地球宜居环境演化和矿产资源形成的控制作用。

We investigate essential elements cycling in subduction zones and their roles in Earth’s habitability and resource formation.

Deep Earth abiotic H₂, CH₄, Benzene and Organic Matter

地球深部非生物氢气、甲烷、苯及有机物形成机制

研究深地流体组成及水–岩反应过程,揭示非生物氢气、甲烷、苯以及大分子有机物等还原性物质的形成机制和能源效应。

We study deep fluids and water-rock reactions to understand the formation of abiotic energy and organic matter.

Meteorites, Planetary Materials and Habitability

地外行星陨石及生命元素研究

研究行星陨石物质组成及生命元素的赋存状态、迁移规律与演化过程,结合比较行星学方法理解宜居性演化。

We use meteorites and planetary materials to explore volatile evolution and planetary habitability.

Developments of High-pressure Experiments and related analysis Techniques

高温高压实验与相关分析技术开发

开发高温高压实验及相关表征技术,包括同步辐射 X 射线分析、NMR、EELS、时间分辨及积分球拉曼光谱等。

We develop experimental and in-situ analytical methods for deep Earth and planetary science.

Our group integrates field geological investigation, natural sample analysis, high-temperature and high-pressure experiments, in-situ characterization, and numerical modeling to study volatile and essential-element cycles in Earth and planetary interiors.
